After graduating form Simmons College in Boston and studying creative writing at Harvard and Columbia, Kimberly entered the work force and climbed the corporate ladder to management positions in fortune 500 companies. Some times they would try to make their own money, and sold candy bars, lemonade, or cookies door to door.
This was before the internet and cell phones, so she spent her nights and weekends running around outside of the house with friends. She spent most of her youth looking forward to being an adult, getting a job, and having her own money to pay for the things she wanted. Kimberly Gordon is a children's book author and illustrator committed to sharing stories that glorify youth empowerment and entrepreneurship.
