I’m dying to see what’s in for us on the next book. The steamy scenes on this book isn’t as much (yet) compared to Ella’s previous books, but it doesn’t mean there isn’t one in this book. The sexual tension and attraction is so thick, you can cut it with a knife. It’s smooth and no unnecessary angst inner monologue.

it’s the cautionary stop, but there’s no hot or cold. It’s what I love most about Xander and Sean’s budding relationship. It’s refreshing to meet a character who even if he’s unsure, he doesn’t push and pull. It was something to watch these two’a relationship switch gears, gradually but I gotta give it to Sean, when he’s in, he’s all in. Just like both of them, I was really starting to think “how could these two get together?” But then again, there’s always a fine line between attraction and animosity, or so they say. The tension between Sean and Xander has been there since the initial phone call. It’s fascinating the details she’s written into Xander’s world. Sweet mother mercy on air wearing a tutu!! Another new series from Ella Frank and it didn’t disappoint! She’s taking us into a glimpse of the world of live broadcasting. I can’t be sure that either of us are playing anymore. I know I’m good at my job and playing a character and all, but this is getting out of hand.

Except suddenly my stomach’s flipping when he looks my way, and my body comes alive whenever he brushes by me. Xander and I have known each other for years, so this should be a breeze. Going undercover has never been an issue in the past, so I don’t see why there’d be a problem now. I mean, I’m allowed to give him a hard time about it, but when some creep decides to cross the line and go after him, they’re gonna have to answer to me. It must be so hard to be Alexander Thorne, the number one prime-time news anchor in the country, with millions of dollars and a car that costs more than my house. Now, not only do I have a bodyguard, I also have a fake boyfriend. I only wanted the name of a bodyguard I didn’t expect for Sean to volunteer for the job. He also happens to be the best they have, which is why I find myself on his doorstep the night my life is threatened by an anonymous stalker. The older brother of my life-long best friend, Sean is a detective for the Chicago PD, and is also known as Detective “Dick” for being.well, a surly, temperamental pain in everyone’s ass. Never in that equation would I ever include the word boyfriend - and not just because he’s straight. If I had to describe Sean Bailey, it would be: A surly, temperamental pain in my ass. Inside Affair is book one of the Prime Time Series trilogy and must be listened to in order.
